Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DerivCalc ("DerivCalc", "we", "us", or "our"), a tool operated by SilverCodeLabs, handles information when you visit derivcalc.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

The DerivCalc calculator runs entirely in your browser. The functions you type are processed on your own device to compute derivatives — they are not transmitted to, or stored on, our servers.

Information we collect

Information you enter

Mathematical expressions you type into the calculator are processed locally in your browser to produce results. We do not collect, transmit, or retain the expressions you enter.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and our advertising partners may automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the Site and to serve advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and local storage) to remember preferences, understand how the Site is used, and deliver and measure advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect how some features and ads function.

Advertising and Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to display ads on the Site. Advertising helps keep DerivCalc free to use.

Third-party ad networks may also use cookies, JavaScript, or web beacons in the advertisements and links that appear on DerivCalc. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. We do not have access to or control over cookies used by third-party advertisers.

How we use information

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because the calculator itself does not collect personal information, most data relating to you is handled by our advertising and hosting partners under their own policies. You can manage advertising cookies using the opt-out links above and control cookies through your browser. To make a privacy request, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

DerivCalc is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect the Site. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International visitors

The Site may be accessed from around the world. By using DerivCalc, you understand that information may be processed in countries that may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
