The service

DerivCalc is a free, browser-based tool that computes symbolic derivatives and shows step-by-step explanations for educational purposes. The Site is provided to help students, teachers, and others learn and check calculus work.

DerivCalc is an educational aid, not a substitute for your own understanding or for professional or academic judgment. While our engine verifies results numerically, you are responsible for checking any answer before relying on it for coursework, exams, or other important purposes.
